I have been getting more involved with DH projects recently (I participated in the DHCommons event at the last MLA and an NEH summer seminar on High Performance Humanities Computing). I write about aesthetics, technology, and politics in Latin America; the simple fact that I my work views technological developments from the global south forces me to take critical positions with regards to intellectual property, the digital divide, etc.

On that note: in Latin American universities, the students read Žižek, but not Nicholas Carr.
