I teach an array of courses at a poorly-resourced public university that needs all the help it can get to keep up with more solvent private colleges and universities in the areas of online teaching and scholarship. I have a book and a collection in the area of 19th-century African American literature and culture, though I have also published articles on team-teaching an interdisciplinary course on race with a biologist, about the rhetoric of higher education literature and student accessibility, on James Baldwin, sexuality, and the representation of prison life, and on a mockumentary about the life of a fictitious lesbian screen Mammy.

My experience with technology is explained above. The best description of Slavo Zizek I have heard is that he is to cultural studies what Borat is to the acting world.
