Samantha Riley
I am a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature, focusing on queer cinema. My dissertation is on questions of ethics in narrative fictional films about HIV/AIDS. I defend in Oct. I also hold a position as webmaster for the UNC cinema minor program and I have worked at Google. I have always been interested in computer programming and have learned what I know almost entirely auto-didactically. I love Zizek, and my brother has always beat me in Galaga.
