My teaching and research is largely centered on the 20th century. I am interested in the global contours of literary production and much of my work draws on traditional and digital archives. Over the last few years I've become interested in how emerging technologies can help advance my archival research as well as enhance my teaching. I have worked closely with Apple with their iTunes U course environment and I'm increasingly impressed with the possibilities offered by mobile learning technologies (iPad &c.) After followed twitter feeds of friends attending THATCamps, I realized that this is a community of thoughtful collaborators that I should try to join.
