I study American Literature, specifically 20th and 21st century American Poetry, the interplay of modernism and postmodernism in poetic practice and in contemporary theoretical approaches. Beyond that I have a vested interest in the theoretical/conceptual ground war between the sciences and the humanities; and I'm interested in pop culture and cultural critique. My experience in the humanities has focused mostly on the print humanities (including some library work in book restoration), but I am interested to learn more about the digital humanities as a theoretical structure, and the technological apparatus that supports them.
