I teach electronic publishing course at Emerson. That means I'm the professor that students go to when they want to work in XML and other markup languages or social media. I work with students in making e-books, apps and any other format for content not designed for the printed page. I am also the E-Publishing Consultant for Ploughshares. We've been working on how to get literary content out in new formats. From digitizing the backlist for e-readers to creating new formats for longer stories. I have a professional background in trade publishing, an academic background in Library Science. I like to break technology to see how it works.
