I am am an assistant professor of information science and an adjunct assistant professor of English at Indiana University. My degrees are all in English literature. Before my current appointment, I spent ten years working as a technologist and later a librarian in the Digital Library Program at Indiana. I am interested in issues of representation, visuality & design, and “indexicality” in cultural artifacts in their digital and non-digital forms. I am involved with a number of DH projects, from digital scholarly editions to tools and software. I am a builder. I play guitar and sing and hope to join in the THATCamp hootenanny currently being planned on Twitter.
