I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Gordon College, where I also direct the first-year writing program. My research explores the literature and culture of global modernism, focusing on writers from England, Ireland, and South Asia. I'm particularly interested in the impact of science and technology on all aspects of twentieth-century culture, from the construction of modernist narrative techniques to the evolving understanding of perception and the mind to the changing landscapes of modernist publication and reception. Recently, I've gotten involved with text mining and topic modeling corpora from academic journals; I'm also very interested in connecting undergraduates to DH, both in the classroom and in their research.
