I'm going into my fifth year studying 18th and 19th century American literature with a focus on Native American and African American literatures, geography, and historiography. More specifically, my work looks at what I call "countergeographies" of exchange and belonging among communities traditionally left out of narratives of national development. Finally, I owned the highest score on Pacman at the one bar in my hometown for a couple of months, but that's not saying much.
